Today was truly a rest day. We had done laundry last night so we didn't even need to take care of that chore today.
Jon had called the local bike shop on Saturday and told them we would like to bring the bikes in for a quick tune up on each, and to replace his tubeless rear tire. The person he spoke with said no problem, just be here at 10am and we can work the bikes in during the day. So we showed up a little before 10am, and once they opened we found out they don't do any service on Mondays. What? They were able to replace Jon's rear tire but none of the other work could be done.
We had a couple things to shop for so we did that, had a morning snack and then found lunch. We were on Easy Street today, with a good lunch at the Easy Street Cafe. Grumpy Dave's wasn't open so we didn't head upstairs for an adult beverage.
After lunch, I was ready for a nap. I headed back to the hotel while Rhonda and Jon went to wait on his bike at the bike shop. A relaxing nap, some reading, some packing and a delivered pizza rounded out the day. We are back on the road tomorrow headed to Huron, OH.
